Welcome to the second competition of Vintage Competitions.

It's an offline competition, you download the flight plan from the task document and fly it without changing them. The task documents will be right here below the competition document, when the task is started. Create an IGC file of your flight and upload it here while the task is running. See more about the rules under "About..."

We will fly 4 tasks in this competition, best 3 telling. Each task is running from Monday to Sunday, starting 22.06.2026.

All tasks will have the task type "Cat's cradle single", please see the description of the tasktype in Configuration \ Tasktypes.

All tasks will start on Omarama in NewZealand, we use the special landscape VCOmarama, it's a small one, 1,3 GB only. You get it for free here on the web side -> https://www.baleit.no/landscapes.nsf/A.%20Condor%20landscapes%5Cg.%20Special?OpenView

We are using only the Libelle, ballast is NOT allowed, cloud flying is not prohibited. Start method is aerotow up to 1000 meters. With the release your task starts immediately, there is no start gate or similar. Time limit is 90 minutes.

No pictures needed at the turn points, only fly at least one second inside the circle around the turn point, radius is 1500 meters. All used turn points have a special building, good visible.



You will - like IRL- not get any signal when you reach a turn point or the finish.
