Yes, I found my passion for DG-gliders. The DG 800 is perfect for the Journey, self launching, nice to fly, good performance, but not competitive to other actual18 m planes. I know a guy who bought a DG 800 IRL, I now understand why. I looked 3 month on that plane and asked me, if it's worth to spent 20 Euro for it. But I love it, flew it on the Journey in 18 m, and in Others in VS with 15 m, both are great to fly.

Looks good .Peter, you've been busy

You have been doing well in your Journey, Peter! It looks like you have found a new favorite glider for the journey. ;-)

I have followed your Journey as well. Yes, we have an interesting situation indeed. I am also unsure of when I will try the next leg. I will pack a raft and shark repellent just in case! ;-)

Have seen your last flight, Brad. You are now in the same situation like me, crossing water. I have to fly from New Foundland to Nova Scotia, a trip of 180 km, 120 non stop over water. So I changed some flights ago to the ASG29Es. The sustainer will save me for the sharks if necessary. Unfortunately I don't have the time I would like to spent for that. But one day it will happen ...
