Multiplayer task H

Thank you for your kind words. To land out is part of the game, but of course nothing I like in a multi player, because we then loose the final, where we all are together on the airport at the virtual barbecue. It happened before and it will happen again, but it is better if not. Dave and I have had an outlanding at the some place in one flight, somewhere in the Alps. Found it, 2022-07-28 ;-)

NPX has uploaded his flight, but it's in "Others" because he used ballast. I wrote a message to him, because I couldn't answer in the chat yesterday, I will ask him if he can use TeamSpeak next time Shot2022072854.jpg - Shot2022072854.jpg

Thank you for today. I felt bad for your outlandings today. The only picture I got was on the last leg head home...Peter was probably in my cockpit then. ;-)   I you look at my trace from today, I found that same area of no lift that took Peter down. I was fortunate to have some altitude when I start the glide, but was wondering if I was landing out towards the second turnpoint. That is when I saw NPX thermalling so I joined in his thermal but a lot lower...saved my flight. Always a good time being with you, even if just talking together and not in the same vicinity in the air. We need to get NPX on the radio! VS24H_Multi.jpg - VS24H_Multi.jpg

 Great pictures, thank you.

and finally the very early outlanding. But was a nice evening nevertheless ... Shot32.jpg - Shot32.jpg

Thanks all for the flight. Here some pictures, not so many because I wasn't close to you :-D Shot29.jpg - Shot29.jpg

Looks good, hope you do even better tomorrow.

Brad 18.09.2024 19:10:11

Thank you for the trim hint, Peter, much appreciated!

Peter 18.09.2024 16:14:50

Great flight with the Libelle, Brad. So I hope the flight tomorrow will be as good as you guess. To the trim: I have checked off the option "Stick trim where available", without that option all planes have the same trim function. I have double checked: No usual trim function in the Libelle with that option, but without. It's the same with LS4 and some other planes I don't remember. So uncheck it, it's on by default Sticktrim.png - Sticktrim.png

Looks like we'll have a good flight tomorrow! I got the Libelle out to see if I remembered how to fly it and took it around the course to get the dust off. I don't seem to have any trim function with it, but otherwise I think it flies well enough. I had a couple of slow spots, so I think we can improve the score...it'll be fun!

Brad 15.09.2024 07:39:22

This looks like a good route, Peter, a challenge for sure. I look forward to flying it with multi-players!

Peter 14.09.2024 14:45:10

Here the announcement of the multi player flight and the suggested flight plan. Hope to see you all soon ;-) LanzenTurnau.pdf - LanzenTurnau.pdf

A Libelle it is! Thank you for being accommodating on the date!

David 11.09.2024 13:48:20

Would prefer a Libelle too, either date will work.

Peter 11.09.2024 09:19:30

I will be at home again tonight. Plan ASW19 tomorrow, maybe Blanik and OneDesign on weekend. Will then setup a flight plan suggestion for Cirrus category for multi player, I will use the Libelle that flight. So far my plan ;-)

Peter 11.09.2024 07:33:46

 great

Brad 11.09.2024 05:43:30

I would prefer the 19th...as I can schedule that date/time.

Peter 10.09.2024 22:55:40

Next multiplayer flight can be Thursday 19th or 26th at the usual time, are there any preferencies?
