I never tried so hard than this ASW19 flight.

1. Uploaded flight to the South outlanded

2. Uploaded flight to the West, very hard with an ok-speed

3. Flight to the East disconnected after a few minutes

4. Flight to the East disconnected after a few minutes

5. Flight to the East outlanded after 20 minutes

6. Flight to the West, returned after 30 minutes

7. Last and successful flight to the East, difficult at the beginning with an amazing 6 m/s lift at the end saving the speed. Got 1300 m height in 3,5 minutes

 Thank you. Ran into a couple of slow spots that killed my speed. Your ASW19 flight was unbeatable! I was thinking K6 to the East, but was not able to fly twice, and chose the ASW20 for my last flight on Task H. ;-)

Your flight was a great one, I can see your fight on the barogram, especially between 15:00 and 15:30. And you came home nevertheless, very good. Today I tried first to the West too, but had to give up. After that I did the flight to the East

My flight didn’t go as planned. First two legs ok. But last one I had to go south to get lift. The mountain s were too close to cloud bases. But I got there ok.

 Thanks, that flight started difficult, but turned to a better one later. Finally I got a very strong last lift and a nice and fast final glide. That was only fun!

 Thank you. It sure is a challenge with the 1-26 given the wind and thermal spacing. Always in the back of my mind is "Am I going to make it over there with enough altitude?" :-) Good luck, Peter, but I'm sure you'll have a good one too!

Thank you, yes your turn now ;-). I can recommend the track to the East, to the North is very difficult. Tried two times to the North with the Blanik today, one outlanding and the first crash after a very long while. Flew then to the East. Challenging too, but much better when you survived leg 1.

 I found out that I like higher variation in lifts, this one has high variation in strength and middle in width

 Thanks guys. I think the first flight was more a result of my lack of familiarity with the area...and possibly some lack of concentration. The second flight I was more focused and able to pick a good route. Thank you for the good lift, Peter! Some thermals are much better than others! I think this task is challenging because of the cloud base height in the hills and mountains of the area. The start point is surrounded by higher country so how you set up for final glide becomes a factor. I agree, this task is another exciting one!

Good OneDesign flight Brad, thanks for exploring the region. I wasn't sure if it's possible to come with headwind through the valley to the Provo lake, but it looks good. My track I will try will be through the valley and then using the ridge to the North or the South (or both). But unfortunately not before 12th of September
