 Thank you very much

Yes, it was interesting. And the preparations for next time are done.

Teamspeak3 runs on a second machine, but push to talk worked only once, will see, if it's an improvement on next multiplayer or two seater flight.

Added a description for two seat flights in the view "Descriptions" (the text from wickid now on a special place to find it better)

Fixed the back seat panel for the SF28, both versions. Downloadable on the web side

Your dual flight sounds like an interesting experience. I like that one pilot can relax and help with navigation and finding lift while the other flies. that sort of cooperation and delegation of responsibilities among pilots is called Crew Resource Management (CRM)! It can be quite beneficial in reducing load and stress on a single pilot flight. Well done gentlemen!

DAVID GEO ROMBACH 10.01.2025 01:29:51

It was my pleasure to have you on the flight. Most enjoyable. My thoughts exactly when I realized there wasn't a compass in the rear seat. I used to use the Bluetooth on the laptop earlier. You need it as the motor is so loud.

We landed a few miles from the take off . I didn't realize it till I turned base. We landed at Red Stewarts. across the river. In times we are without a tow pilot, Those folks supply a pilot and/or pilot and plane. I'm looking forward to other flight.

Peter 09.01.2025 23:01:52

Thanks to David for the first two seater flight. It was more fun than I expected, but there is a lot to improve for me. First I forgot to modify the panel for the back seat on the SF28, so I didn't had a compass. In navigation I couldn't help, that I will change first. The other thing is communication. I don't understand anything on teamspeak while flying, so I will install it on another machine, use the headphones for teamspeak and loud speakers for Condor. Have to find the push to talk button ...
That we finally landed on the wrong airport wasn't that bad, I guess the beer and the barbecue will be there as good as at the other airport. This flight was first of all to learn the technology, and I hope it was not the last one. Flying that way is really nice, we changed often, so that we had to control nearly 50 % of the flight each, the other 50 % were to relax and to look out for good clouds and the right way. With a working communication it will be even better.
To be continued ... ;-)

Good luck guys, enjoy the flight!

Thanks, will print it tomorrow

Spending the afternoon deleting planes in Condor 3 , due to blue screens.

Peter 06.01.2025 22:55:16

Good, then we go for it. We meet on teamspeak Thursday round about 19:30 UTC, will be an interesting evening

David 06.01.2025 16:40:05

 Looks good to me.

David 06.01.2025 16:20:07

 Looks good to me.

Here my suggestion for the two seater flight. I guess 100 km is a realistic distance, so I made a 104 km triangle not too difficult to navigate, I hope. If you wish other points to visit, I can of course change it

Here is a description from wickid:

Player 1(pilot in command) needs to join a server. Stay in the flightplanner screen. Do NOT click the "join flight" button. Select any twoseater both of you own. I suggest the DuoDiscus or the Blanik. Select the "Two Pilots (MTOW)" option in the hangar tab. Now wait for the other player to connect.

Player 2 joins the same server and goes directly to the Multiplayer tab. There he will find player 1 listed and player 2 will see a "JOIN" button on the empty seat. Player 2 clicks this button. Player 1 will then see a popup asking him to accept or decline. Click accept.

Only after you have made the coupling, player 1 can click the "join flight" button. You cannot join a glider that is already flying.

Ofcourse you need 2 separate Condor licenses. You cannot join a server with both players using the same Condor license.

David 05.01.2025 16:49:48

I will have to reread the procedure for doing this.

Peter 05.01.2025 06:38:22

Thank you, Brad, you will get a report ;-)

Brad 05.01.2025 05:42:39

Good luck with the two-seater flight! It will be interesting to hear your report of how it works out. Looking forward to see the next multi-player flight and how it fits into the schedule for me. ;)

Peter 05.01.2025 00:48:15

SF28 is good, I will look for a suggestion for the track (maybe Monday).

As fas as I know is the installation of landscapes with Condor Updater ok if it installs to Condor 2, because it creates a link for Condor 3 too, so you can use the landscape in C2 and C3.

Support will ask you later I guess, at the moment they are for sure very busy

David 04.01.2025 16:42:31

Thank you for putting that up for me.

As far as the plane for Thursday  . lets try the SF28.

Condor support never did get back with me, so there is no solution.

I have a couple of issues.1. I cannot fly on C3 with out logging on to a server. This does not happen always , but most times.

2. I cannot upload landscapes except yours. Which is ok , since I don't fly but yours anyway. If I try from the Updater, it goes to D drive , which are Condor 2 landscapes. If I try it manually, It doesn't work.

Peter 04.01.2025 07:06:54

Thanks for the fpl, David, it runs now on VintageSeries24_Special_C3.

Are you ready with your C3 installation? Got you a solution from support?

What plane will we use on Thursday? We said first SF28, but you got DG1000 too, you can decide which one we take

@Brad: We are planning our first two seater flight, the multiplayer flight will follow later this month

Peter 03.01.2025 20:59:12

No problem, will find a little bit of time to do that ... ;-)

David 03.01.2025 20:03:17

Ok not home now, but if you could tomorrow, would be much appreciated

Peter 03.01.2025 19:56:58

No, but you can send one here and I set it on a server

David 03.01.2025 18:32:37

Can I create a task on the server ?
